Usra (أُسرة) is a family planner made by OG Tech Solutions. This page explains what the app stores, why, and how you can remove it.
What we store
- Your account: your name, email address and a hashed password.
- Your family: the names, roles and birth years of the people you add, and the tasks, routines, events, learning plans and progress you record. Children are added as profiles managed by their parents; they do not need an email address or an account of their own.
- Invitations: the email address of anyone you invite to your family, so we can send them the invitation.
What stays on your device
Your location (or the city you choose) is used on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. It is not sent to our servers. Quran text, duas and the city list are bundled in the app.
What we do not do
We do not sell your data, show advertising, or use third-party analytics or tracking. Your family's data is only visible to the members of your family.
Where it is kept
Data is stored on our server in Germany (Hetzner) and sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We keep it while your account exists.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app: Settings → Delete account. This removes your account and everything you recorded. If you were the only parent in a family, the family and its child profiles are deleted too; otherwise the family stays with the other members. You can also ask us to delete your data by email.
